By accessing or using Driftnote (the "Application" and "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not access or use the application.
Driftnote provides a private, offline-first thought-capture and journaling application. All text, voice recordings, ideas, and reflections created within your workspace remain strictly your intellectual property. Driftnote claims zero ownership over your personal data or entries.
You agree to use Driftnote only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to compromise application security, reverse-engineer encryption algorithms, or disrupt cloud infrastructure.
Your local data is protected by hardware-backed device keys and SQLCipher encryption. You are responsible for keeping your device secure, maintaining PIN/Biometric device locks, and securing access to your cloud authentication credentials.
Optional AI features (such as note transcription and reflection highlights powered by Google Gemini) are provided "as is." While we strive for high uptime and accuracy, AI responses are for informational and reflective purposes only.
You may stop using Driftnote at any time. You can purge local entries, clear offline data, or request cloud account deletion directly within the application settings or by contacting our team.
